U.S. Presidency 2024 : Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to accept Bitcoin donations

Robert F. Kennedy Jr, candidate for the 2024 U.S. presidency, will accept Bitcoin (BTC) donations for his election campaign.

As the nephew of former U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK), Robert F. Kennedy Jr has announced that he will accept Bitcoin donations to fund his presidential campaign.

A strong supporter of Bitcoin and cryptos, he made the announcement at the Bitcoin Conference 2023 in Miami, where he expressed his support for cryptos and his desire to become the next President of the United States.

If elected president, Robert F. Kennedy Jr said he would protect the right to own and use Bitcoin.

“Our campaign will be the first presidential campaign in history to accept Bitcoin donations via the Lightning Network.

And today, we’re one step closer to the future. Today, we show the world the power, sustainability and flexibility of Bitcoin.”

As a liberal candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr hopes to attract Bitcoin- and cryptocurrency-friendly voters, and plans to raise millions of dollars in cryptocurrency donations to fund his election campaign.
