Prince Filip of Serbia: children must understand what Bitcoin is

Prince Filip Karađorđević, hereditary of Serbia and Yugoslavia, also known as Philip Karageorgevich has been enthusiastic about Bitcoin.

At the Surfin’Bitcoin event that took place between August 25 and 27, 2022, Prince Filip said that his optimism is fueled by the impact it could have on the education of children around the world. The prince describes himself as a bitcoin (BTC) maximalist.

Prince Philip: Bitcoin is freedom!

This statement from the Serbian prince was expressed in light of a recent study conducted by Study.com, which revealed that American parents and college graduates want to widely adopt crypto and integrate it into school curricula.

Prince Filip of Serbia and Yugoslavia opened the conference with a talk entitled “Why I’m Bullish on Bitcoin.” Quite a program! A good start to the three days of conferences at Surfin’ Bitcoin 2022!

Prince Philip gave the opening speech at the conference, focusing on the benefits of Bitcoin for the general public.

According to the prince, children need to understand what bitcoin is. He explains that is part of the fundamentals too little taught in school. More generally, he says that education is deteriorating. For example, the prince is trying to educate his own four-year-old son around bitcoin (BTC) concepts.

Additionally, the prince has hinted that he is rebuilding his crypto portfolio during this bear market. This optimism sometimes takes the form of political rhetoric in favor of bitcoin. For example, he was quoted in July 2022 as saying that the adoption of bitcoin was inevitable for all countries whose citizens practice Islam, since “it’s a perfect currency for sharia law.”

He was heard last July, at Bitcoin Miami, declaring that he wanted to see Bitcoin become widespread in all countries where Muslims live.

Bitcoin is freedom and it’s something I want for everyone.
