NFT : Create and sell directly on Shopify is now possible

Thanks to the Venly application, it is now possible to create and sell your NFTs hosted on Polygon (MATIC) or Avalanche (AVAX) on your Shopify store.

Indeed, on Thursday, Shopify has added an extension that will allow to sell non-fungible tokens (NFT) on its platform. This innovation is made possible by a technology startup called Venly.

Non-fungible token (NFT) creators have an all-in-one solution to create and sell their collections directly from their Shopify store.

In a way, Venly’s philosophy is to simplify the concept of NFT to the point of breaking the technical barriers:

“With our app, listing NFT is similar to regular Shopify products. Choose the name, set the inventory and price, and then list everything as you normally would.”

In addition, Venly allows you to set up a “mint on demand” option, which allows NFTs to be created with each sale. As with most NFT platforms, it will also be possible to receive royalties on each resale on the secondary market of up to 10%.

Tim Dierckxsens, co-founder and CEO of Venly says he has seen a growing demand for a simple, code-free tool for any seller to create NFTs. The extension of Avalanche support by this application is a significant step forward for the market. Indeed, it will allow the creation and sale of NFTs to a much wider audience.

“I think this is one of the biggest developments for NFTs, as they open up to a mass market. What’s even more interesting is that you don’t have to understand the need for crypto to make purchases,” he added.
