Exposing your NFTs on Instagram is no longer just for US users. Meta has announced the rollout of non-fungible tokens to 100 new countries.
On Thursday, Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s boss, made it known that the feature that allows you to display an NFT as a profile picture on Instagram and initially offered in the United States was now available to creators and businesses in 100 other countries.
In addition, we learn that the company has implemented new integrations with Coinbase and Dapper.
Last May, Meta began allowing select US users to display their NFTs – developed on the Ethereum, Polygon and Flow networks – on their Instagram profiles. The pilot project was later extended to Facebook.
While the NFT market has been losing steam this year, the social networking giant recently said it was not slowing down its plans in this area.
