International fashion brand Hugo Boss and Imaginary Ones : to issue NFTs

NFT collection Imaginary Ones has entered into a partnership with Hugo Boss. The German brand plans to launch non-fungible tokens and offer a metaverse experience.

Imaginary Ones is an NFT collection featuring 8,888 fully animated and 3D characters on the Ethereum network. Founded by Singaporeans Clement Chia and David Lee, it believes in using art to spread love, positivity and creativity.

This Tuesday, Imaginary Ones announced that it is partnering with Hugo Boss on the upcoming launch of a series of NFTs and the implementation of a “360-degree” metaverse experience.

A collection of 1,001 3D animations called HUGO x Imaginary Ones NFT will be offered in early November. To access the sale (1000 seats), collectors must own an Imaginary Ones NFT genesis or purchase a limited edition “phygital t-shirt”.

Clement Chia, co-founder of Imaginary Ones, said:

We share HUGO’s values and commitment to contributing to an inclusive and equitable world. Through this partnership, we aspire to strengthen Imaginary Ones’ presence beyond the Web 3.0 space and advance our cause for inclusion and diversity around the world.

The metaverse is an exciting new space for fashion brands, a space rich in potential for HUGO. We are thrilled to partner with Imaginary Ones to offer a collection of beautiful 3D NFT resources,” commented Miah Sullivan, senior vice president of marketing at Hugo Boss.

Future HUGO x Imaginary Ones NFT holders will receive a “golden ticket,” offering a 10% discount in the apparel brand’s online store. Holders will be also able to join Imaginary Ones‘ staking ecosystem. After that, the tokens are expected to offer more value, including access to a “360-degree metaverse experience,” according to a press release.

Hugo Boss is the latest major apparel company to bet on NFTs and Web3 more generally. Many brands, such as Puma, Diesel, Louis Vuitton, Gap, Lacoste, Gucci and Prada, have recently launched non-fungible token collections.
