This Monday, Crypto.com announced a partnership with Coca-Cola to offer non-fungible tokens inspired by the 2022 World Cup.
Called “Piece of Magic” and designed by digital artist GMUNK, the collection of 10,000 NFTs is based on the heat maps of the competition matches currently taking place in Qatar. Each token is inspired by the heat maps created by the teams’ actions on the field.

NFTs are reserved for football fans who have created or have an account on the Crypto.com platform. Those eligible must also register on the soda brand’s Fanzone page to be eligible for a token.
The FIFA World Cup in Qatar is all about bringing magical moments to life on and off the pitch for millions of fans in the region and beyond. This incredible collaboration with GMUNK will see 10,000 pieces of breathtaking, one-of-a-kind magic in the form of NFT,” said Nazli Berberoglu, Coca-Cola’s CEO of the World Cup.
In September, the International Football Federation launched FIFA+Collect, an NFT platform based on the Algorand network.
