Crypto.com exchange wins Singapore license

The exchange Crypto.com recently announced that it has been granted a Digital Token license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

This Major Payment Institution license enables Crypto.com to offer “Digital Payment Token” services in Singapore.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore is recognized worldwide as a regulator that ensures responsible innovation in the digital asset sector. We are proud to receive the license from a regulator that prioritizes consumer protection, safety and security,” commented Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com.

Indeed, Marszalek expressed his pride at receiving this license from a regulator that places great importance on these principles. Crypto.com had already received approval in principle from MAS in 2022.

The platform is currently working to obtain approvals in various jurisdictions, and already holds a PSAN registration in France.

In addition, Crypto.com recently began the preparatory phase of the crypto regulatory program in Dubai.
