Pharmacies in Ukraine to accept payment in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies with Binance Pay.
Ukrainian pharmacy chains ANC, Kopiyka, SHAR will accept payment in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, ANC.ua reports.
According to the statement, ANC, Kopiyka, SHAR are the first pharmacies in Europe to accept cryptocurrency as a payment method through the Binance Pay app!
“From January 3, you will be able to enjoy instant payments when purchasing pharmacy products. After all, it will be possible to pay for orders in cryptocurrency on ANC.UA!
There is a reason why we have the status of the most innovative pharmacy chain, which is constantly moving in the direction of digitalization!” the announcement of ANC says.
The ANC chain has more than 1000 pharmacies across Ukraine, customers can also order online.
As for the crypto exchange Binance, it is increasingly involved in the country in order to help, among others, the many refugees who had to flee their homes following the invasion of the Russian army.
In April 2022, the company had thus launched a crypto bank card for all Ukrainian refugees in neighboring European countries.
Binance is also working with various non-profit organizations, including Rotary and Palianytsia, to facilitate the sending of money in cryptocurrencies (bitcoin, ethereum, …) to refugees holding a crypto Binance Card.
While the announcement of the arrival of crypto payments in Ukrainian pharmacies has nothing to do with the war against the Russian invader, it does illustrate Binance’s growing presence in the Ukrainian crypto sector.
