The Bitcoin Conference has seen substantial growth and exposure around the world since its launch in 2018. The founding team aims to spread the Bitcoin Conference around the world, branching out from its annual flagship event in Miami. So, for this year, it’s going to be held in Amsterdam with the goal of putting the European Bitcoin community on the world stage.
It will also be a great opportunity to learn, engage and party with other Bitcoiners.
Organized by Bitcoin Magazine and BTC Inc. in collaboration with Amsterdam Decentralized, the event will kick off on October 12 at Westergras, one of the most important cultural venues located in the heart of the Dutch capital.
Recognized as the world’s largest Bitcoin event, attendees will mingle with some of the industry’s most prominent figures, including key public advocates, politicians, celebrities and more. Notable names include:
- Adam Back, co-founder and CEO of Blockstream;
- Peter McCormack, journalist and founder of the What Bitcoin Did podcast; and
- Stella Assange, wife of activist and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Topics to be discussed include central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), bitcoin as a hedge against inflation, the Lightning network, and the integration of bitcoin into current payment networks.
