BigCommerce is collaborating with BitPay and CoinPayments to offer cryptos payment methods to reach wider markets and attract new customers worldwide.
A partnership with cryptos leaders
According to the press release, this strategic partnership with crypto leaders BitPay and CoinPayments was made in order to easily and securely offer crypto-payment solutions to BigCommerce merchants in select countries.
By expanding its cryptocurrency ecosystem, BigCommerce is opening up opportunities for its merchants to offer payment options, expand their market share, tap into a new customer base and accelerate international growth through innovation.
BigCommerce is an e-commerce platform based on a SaaS (Software as a Service) architecture. It allows the creation of an online store, the implementation of a review and rating system, and a clear display of sales prices.
As an e-commerce platform, BigCommerce offers digital tools dedicated to companies that want to design their own online store. It is also possible to use it for the migration of its activity to another site. The hosting solutions are done on the cloud. SaaS (Software as a Service), the system is presented in the form of a scalable offer. It can be adapted to different activities and targets (B2B or B2C).
Bitpay and CoinPayments in da place!
With BitPay, BigCommerce merchants can now accept payments in cryptos such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Litecoin (LTC), XRP (XRP) and 5 stablecoins including BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC and USDP.
Having pioneered blockchain payment technology, BitPay has processed over $5 billion in payment volumes since 2011, and supports over 100 crypto wallets.
